Working on some “parts” for my project. In the hunt to pull power, plenum spacers are a good addition on the 3.0. I decided to take them a step farther by spiral boring them!
Hoping this will net some extra power:
Joys of working in a CNC shop ;)

I so miss working in a machine shop.
You got a anodizer too ? or paint.

Looks like phenolic but can’t tell for sure. Did you use a thread mill to do the spiral in the bores? I have never used one at my shop.

Black Polycarbonate.
The spiral was cut in using a .750 dia, .047 thick woodruff key cutter ran on a 7.5* ramp.
We use thread mills quite often for cutting pipe threads in.

I usually just paint my engine parts. These were made out of Black Polycarbonate.
